ETAU architects is designated as the winner for the construction of the new administrative center for the CPAS of Mouscron (Belgium) !

It's along the Avenue Royale than the new administrative center of the CPAS of Mouscron will be installed. The major challenges of the project were to bring together the different services in a single building but also to requalify the site, his image and his visibility.

The project resulting from a rigorous contextual analysis expresses itself with a strong identity and an assertive contemporary architecture. It also tries to reflect the image of a dynamic, ambitious CPAS, wanting to offer modern, functional and pleasant services to the users !

From a constructive point of view, in order to offer greater flexibility and numerous possibilities of adaptation over time, the choice of a wooden frame with a constructive system of post-beam type was therefore essential.

The facades were worked in a coherent manner with the same attention around the entire perimeter of the building by the use of a single material : a facing in perforated metal panels thermo-lacquered white which wants to be perfectly adapted to the function of public equipment.
